Independent Educational Evaluation  Services may include record reviews, observations, assessments, interviews of staff and family, analysis and interpretation of data, written reports, and attendance at meetings. While all evaluations are individualized and based on the needs of each child, most evaluations take an average of 15-20 hours to complete, excluding travel. Areas of specialty include students with intellectual disabilities, literacy, positive behavior supports and access to the general education curriculum. Please note: it is the policy of this practice to release evaluation reports to the family and district simultaneously.

Training and Technical Assistance  On-site training and technical assistance for teachers, related service personnel, administrators and parents on a variety of topics including: access to the general education curriculum for students with disabilities, literacy instruction for students with intellectual disabilities, positive behavior support, designing and implementing IEPs, and collaborative partnerships.

Program Review  A comprehensive review of a student’s Individual Education Program (IEP) to determine whether the IEP can reasonably be expected to result in educational benefit to the student. Includes a complete review of the relationship between the student’s present levels of performance, goals/objectives, services, and progress. A written report, including IEP analysis and recommendations, is provided. Reports are released to both the parent and the district simultaneously.
